Research showcase

Last week, I was given the opportunity to present all my work that I had culminated over the first semester of ISM at the research showcase. During this time, I was able to present to my friends and family what I had been doing, but I also got to show my mentor. I believe that she was pleased with the way in which I organized everything on display and was impressed with the eloquence of my original work follow-up reports. It was a satisfying experience, because I was able to show everybody something that I created and was proud of. Additionally, I was confronted by many strangers who were interested in my topic and were intrigued to learn more. Some of the commentary that I received by both adults and young students alike was appreciation for how beneficial it was for them to see and understand my original work. I had produced something that was not merely understandable to individuals in the field, but could also be comprehended by just about anyone interested.

This week, I will be shifting my attention to my product proposal which will guide my work progress for the remaining semester. I am excited to deepen my understanding on the topics I have already touched on and also to explore the various untapped subject matters.
