Completing my product

This week I will be turning in my final product for the completion of my ISM progress. I am comfortable with saying that my product is something that I am proud of and I will be excited to present at Final Presentation Night. This evening, I will be meeting with Dr. Correa to discuss my final product. My product consists of a forensic mental health assessment that answers the psycholegal questions of trial competency and criminal responsibility. I have incorporated research on the differences between cult beliefs and legitimate delusions. Dr. Correa will be bringing a copy of the SADS test for us to evaluate. This test scans for psychopathology in accordance to the DSM-5, and therefore covers a wide range of diagnoses. I mentioned this instrument in my report that I wrote for my final product since it encompasses so many possible outcomes.

This evening will be one of my last mentor visits of the year which is bittersweet. I have enjoyed my time with Dr. Correa and consider it the highlight of my school year. I hope to keep in touch with her after graduation, especially since I will be attending NYU which is where she completed her undergraduate.
