Preparation and reflection

As I come closer and closer to the end of the semester, I am reflecting more and more on my final presentation. I have had an extremely packed last few weeks, and I have not been able to make as much progress as I would have hoped for. Due to this, I need to be much more productive this week. I will be presenting my final presentation night speech to two of my peers on Wednesday, and I must keep within certain parameters that I am afraid of crossing. My main concern is staying in the correct time frame, and actually speaking well. I have a huge issue with filler words that I can usually control during conversation, but never really can when I am presenting something or doing a speech. I have always struggled with this and I really hope that I can combat it leading up to the actual final presentation night. I am not meeting with Dr. Correa this evening, but instead will see her later this week, most likely Thursday. I hope that I can talk with her about my product and any directions she can provide me with. I must remind myself that no matter what, I have achieved so much through ISM that I never would have learned at this age otherwise. I also need to be sure that I am not too hard on myself, and can learn to accept compromising my time.
