Last week, I did a lot of reflection on my work and progress in the ISM program, as well as planning for my final product. I set goals for myself and the work that I hope to accomplish in the weeks ahead of me. I also presented my speech on original work and my overall semester reflection of what I have learned. I met with my mentor, Dr. Correa, to discuss my product proposal and any suggestions she had for my work. She strengthened my proposal and ideas by helping me establish the different approaches. I could either pull information from various cases in real life and mold my own cases with the help of famous evaluations, or I could indulge my creative skills to create my own profiles, using a backward method of aligning my profiles to meet the various requirements in the assessment. I think that it will be best if I implement both of these strategies in order to strengthen my research skills and habits, as well as my creative skills.
This week, I will work on strengthening and narrowing my product proposal and calendar. I plan to meet with Dr. Correa on Wednesday, which will help me guide my next assessment.
